The Problem
Your client calls: "The website is down." You didn't know because nobody manually checks all websites regularly. With 50+ websites, that's simply impossible.
pingport checks each of your websites automatically in the background — every 2 Minuten. As soon as a site is unreachable, you're notified immediately. Before your client notices.
How does it work?
pingport sends an HTTP request to each of your websites. Timeout: 10 seconds, up to 2 redirects are followed. A status code 200 means "online" — anything else is a potential problem.
Every check is logged: status code, response time, timestamp. From this, pingport automatically calculates uptime percentages (24h, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days) and shows the response time trend as a chart.
An alert is only triggered after two consecutive failed checks — no alarm for a single timeout.
