Why pingport?

There are many monitoring tools. But none of them help you actually manage your website portfolio. pingport is the operational cockpit — inventory, monitoring, tasks, notes in one place.

The Problem

You run 10, 50, maybe 200 websites. And all you have to manage them is a spreadsheet.

Domains expire because nobody tracked the date. SSL certificates expire overnight and your client calls in the morning. Someone changed something on a landing page last week — but nobody knows what. Todo lists live in Slack, Notion, emails or nowhere at all. And the spreadsheet with hosting info and domain data? It hasn't been updated in three months.

This is everyday life in agencies, for affiliate operators and SMBs managing many small websites. Not because the teams are poorly organized, but because there was no tool for it — until now.

Before vs. After

What changes when you switch from Excel + individual tools to pingport.

Area Today (Excel + Tools) With pingport
Inventory Spreadsheet, often outdated Central database with tags, status, hosting info
Uptime Monitoring Separate tool (e.g. UptimeRobot) Integrated, every 2 Minuten
SSL Certificates Check manually or forget Automatic warning 30 days in advance
Domains Calendar reminder, if at all WHOIS monitoring with warnings from 90 days
Tasks Slack, Notion, sticky notes Todos directly attached to the website
Notes Email thread, Confluence, nowhere Chronological logbook per website
Import Type manually CSV/Excel import with column mapping
Alerts Each tool has its own alerts All alerts centrally configurable
Health Check Manually check each metric individually Health Score (0–100) per website, color-coded
Maintenance Windows Manually disable monitoring Scheduled windows with alert suppression
API Access If at all, then expensive REST API add-on
Browser integration Doesn't exist Health Score, quick actions right in the browser

Fair, usage-based pricing

No packages, no tiers. You pay a base price plus a small amount per website.

Most monitoring tools sell you packages: 10 websites for X euros, 50 for Y. With pingport, you pay exactly for what you use — no more, no less.

Base price plus 0.15 EUR per website per month. Add-ons are booked individually when you need them. No surprises, no minimum contract.

More than Monitoring

UptimeRobot, Pingtide and others are good monitoring tools. But they only solve part of the problem.

Pure Monitoring Tools

  • Check if a URL is reachable
  • Send alerts on downtime
  • No inventory, no master data
  • No task management
  • No notes or change history
  • No browser integration

pingport

  • Monitoring + Inventory + Tasks + Notes
  • SSL and domain monitoring included
  • Health Score: website health at a glance (0–100)
  • Maintenance windows for planned downtimes without false alarms
  • CSV/Excel import for quick migration
  • All data in one place, not spread across 5 tools
  • Built for teams managing many websites
  • Browser Companion shows Health Score while you browse

Design Philosophy

Fast

No overloaded dashboards, no unnecessary animations. Fast load times, clear structures.

Informative

The right data at the right time. No data clutter, no irrelevant metrics.

No Bloat

Every feature solves a concrete problem. Nothing is there because it would be "nice to have".

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes pingport different from UptimeRobot or Pingdom?

UptimeRobot and Pingdom are pure monitoring tools — they check if a URL is reachable. pingport does that too, but on top you manage your entire website portfolio: master data, SSL, domains, tasks, notes, Health Score and maintenance windows. Everything in one place instead of five different tools.

Do I need technical knowledge to use pingport?

No. You enter your website URL and pingport takes care of the rest — uptime checks, SSL verification, domain monitoring all run automatically. No technical background needed for the core features.

How many websites can I monitor?

Up to 5 websites on the free plan. On the paid plan there's no limit — you simply pay per website. Whether 10 or 500, pingport scales with you.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

After cancellation, you keep full access until the end of the billing period. Then your account is downgraded to the free plan. Your data is preserved — you can upgrade again at any time.

How do maintenance windows work?

You create a time window per website during which planned work takes place. During this window, either only alerts are suppressed (monitoring continues) or monitoring is paused entirely. This prevents false alarms during deployments or server updates.

What is the Health Score?

The Health Score combines six metrics (uptime, SSL, domain, response time, alerts, monitoring status) into a single number from 0 to 100. Color-coded, you see at a glance which websites need attention — without checking each metric individually.

Is there a trial period?

Yes, every new account starts with a 14-day trial with full features. No credit card required. After it expires, you automatically switch to the free plan.

Can I use pingport with my team?

Yes. Every account is team-based. You can invite team members via email. Additional users are available as an add-on.
