pingport v1.12 — Hosting Cost Tracking

Track hosting costs centrally, manage accounts and automatically split costs across websites. Full visibility into your monthly hosting expenses.

New Feature

  • Hosting accounts: Create accounts with provider, costs, billing cycle and login URL — all in one place
  • Flexible billing cycles: Monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually — costs are automatically normalized to monthly
  • Automatic cost splitting: Monthly costs are evenly distributed across all linked websites
  • Quick-create in the website form: Create a hosting account directly while creating or editing a website
  • Dashboard widget: Total monthly hosting costs at a glance — with yearly projection
  • API support: Full CRUD API for hosting accounts with search and filter capabilities

Improvements

  • Website overview now shows hosting costs, provider and account name when an account is linked
  • Website form with hosting account dropdown: Provider and hosting type are automatically derived from the account
  • API documentation extended with hosting accounts section — including all endpoints, parameters and examples
February 2026 Feature

pingport v1.11 — Activity Log & Email Routing

Full transparency over all team actions and flexible control over where notifications are sent.

New Feature

  • Activity Log: Complete chronology of all team actions — who changed, created, or deleted what, and when
  • Detailed change tracking: Website edits show exactly which fields changed (old value → new value)
  • Bulk actions are summarized as a single entry — with an expandable list of affected websites
  • Email Routing: Choose whether notifications go individually to team members or centrally to a specific email address
  • Personal notification email: Each team member can set an alternative email address for notifications

Improvements

  • Dashboard now shows recent activities from the Activity Log instead of the old changelog
  • New navigation links to the Activity Log in desktop and mobile views
  • Filter the Activity Log by category (website, team, billing, etc.) and team member
February 2026 Feature

pingport v1.10 — Browser Companion & Improvements

New experimental feature, improved website overview, and bugfixes for a cleaner overview.

New Feature

  • PingPort Browser Companion (experimental): Monitoring data and quick actions directly in the browser — no tab-switching to pingport
  • Overlay on recognized websites shows health score, uptime status, open alerts and todos at a glance
  • Quick actions from the browser: create todos, add notes, start maintenance — all without opening the app

Improvements

  • Monitoring Grace Period: New websites get a configurable warm-up phase — monitoring runs, but email notifications are suppressed until it ends
  • Extended filters on the website overview for faster finding and sorting
  • Improved pagination: page selection, configurable entries per page and result count display

Bugfixes

  • Dashboard lists (issues, todos, activity) now limited to a maximum number of entries for a cleaner overview
February 2026 Feature

pingport v1.03 — Maintenance Windows

Planned maintenance without false alarms: Define time windows per website where alerts are suppressed or monitoring is paused entirely.

  • Maintenance windows per website with start, end, and optional recurrence (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Two modes: suppress alerts (monitoring continues) or pause monitoring entirely (no checks, clean uptime stats)
  • Quick-start button for spontaneous maintenance — click, pick a duration (30 min, 1h, 2h, 4h), done
  • Dashboard integration: yellow card shows all websites in active maintenance
  • Maintenance periods are visually highlighted in the response time chart
  • Portfolio Digest: Weekly or monthly email summary with uptime, health score, expiring certificates and open alerts
February 2026 Feature

pingport v1.02 — Health Score & Slow Response Alerting

Two new features: The pingport Health Score shows you at a glance how each website is doing. And with Slow Response Alerting, you get warned before slow response times become a problem.

  • Health Score (0–100) per website — weighted combination of uptime, SSL, domain, response time, alerts and monitoring status
  • Color-coded score display (green/yellow/red) on website overview and detail page with breakdown
  • Slow Response Alerting: email notification when websites respond slowly repeatedly
  • Configurable threshold (default: 3000ms) and number of consecutive slow checks (2/3/5)
  • Automatic all-clear when response times normalize — including recovery email
  • Threshold line in the response time chart on the uptime page
February 2026 Add-on

pingport v1.01 — Performance Monitoring

New add-on: Performance Monitoring. Lighthouse audits, Core Web Vitals and detailed performance metrics — automatic for every website.

  • Lighthouse scores (Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices, SEO) automatically per website
  • Core Web Vitals: LCP, INP, CLS with category rating (Good/Needs Improvement/Poor)
  • Extended metrics: FCP, Speed Index, TBT, TTFB and page size
